Carr, Brown Finish Boston Marathon
The team finished the 116th Boston Marathon in just under five hours on Monday.
The team of Lucas Carr and Norwood's Matt Brown finished the 116th Boston Marathon in just under five hours on Monday, CBS Boston reported.
Brown, who was paralyzed in a tragic accident at a Norwood hockey game in January of 2010, first teamed up with Carr to compete in the in February.
This, their second marathon together, the team completed in 4 hours, 59 minutes and 50 seconds, despite unseasonably warm temperatures on the race route.

Brown and Carr ran the Boston Marathon this year to raise money for the Boston Bruins Foundation.
In the tragic game two years ago, Brown suffered fractures of the C4 and C5 vertebrae in his neck and significant bruising to his spinal cord which left him paralyzed from the chest down. Even so, the now high school senior is working every day toward recovery, with the constant motto, "Never quit."
