From Coach Anthony Roman Norwood beat Cohasset, 14-8, to improve to 7-1. The score was 5-4, Cohasset, at the half and then 10-5, Norwood, going into the fourth. The team came out flat in the first quarter - the worst quarter of the season. We were OK in the second. Came out like our hair was on fire in the second half. Recommitment to winning the ground ball battle made the difference. Player Highlights: Andy Alty had 4 goals, 4 assists. Emmett McNamara had 3 goals, 2 assists. Danny Farrell had 3 goals, 4 assists. Nick Nardelli had 19 saves. From Coach Caitlin Harrington Norwood lost to Canton 13-14. A very hard fought game but Canton never let up the intensity and capitalized on Norwood's mistakes. We dominated the first half but had some lousy forced shots and couldn't drive up the score like we should have. Canton had some nice interceptions and they simply wanted it more. Player Highlights: Kelsey Colbert had a beautiful interception and goal to bring it to 11-11.
