Norwood girls lacrosse beat Natick under the lights, 13-12.

Player Highlights: Allison Ryan had 6 goals. Kacie Smith had 3 goals, 3 assists. Marykate Galvin had 1 goal. Brittany Sullivan and Brianna Saad each had 1 goal, 1 assist. Lauren Harrington had 1 goal.

I don't even know where to start with highlights of this game. We came back from a 6 goal deficit and the rest of the game was neck and neck. Natick is ranked high. But our team just clicked. I am so proud of all of them. Kacie Smith, a freshman, had a magnetic stick. Leah Murphy played out of her shoes with 19 saves. The defense was composed and played smart. This was a huge win for us.

Norwood beat Natick 17-4, for an 11-1 overall record.

Player Highlights: Emmett McNamara had 5 goals, 2 assists. Danny Farrell had 6 assists. Mike Roy had 4 goals, 2 assists. Andy Alty had 4 goals, 1 assist. Nick Nardelli had 7 saves.

Score was 9-2 Norwood at the half, 14-4 going into the fourth. Defense and transition was the key throughout. Brendan Altieri dominated on the defensive end.
