Former School Committee Chair to Appear in Court in June
A continuance was issued until June 7, for the court appearance of Bill Plasko, Jr.

The former chairman of the Norwood School Committee Bill Plasko Jr. was issued a continuance on his court date for Friday, April 20, and is now set to appear in June.
Plasko pleaded not guilty to charges of sexually assaulting a local woman in her home after being arrested on Oct. 9, 2011. He resigned his chairmanship of the School Committee in October and resigned from the committee fully in January.
Plasko was arrested after a female came into the Norwood Police Department stating that she had been sexually assaulted by a person known to her, Norwood police said. The victim alleged that the 41-year-old Plasko had removed a screen from a window and entered into her home. She alleged that woke when she felt the defendant’s hands on her, screamed and yelled at the defendant to leave.

Police confirmed that the victim was an adult and knew Plasko.
