Local Newspaper Columnist Publishes Book

The columns of Debbie Spingarn will be published in an anthology titled "Another Spin: Columns By A Newspaper Writer."

Avid readers of Debbie Spingarn's columns in the Norwood Transcript and Bulletin will have a new way to read, as 101 of her most memorable articles wil be published in her very first anthology titled "Another Spin: Columns By A Newspaper Writer."

The book is Spingarn’s first collection of columns as a writer for the Norwood Transcript and Bulletin. Columns cover a variety of topics, including health, environmental, political topics, animals, education and family.

"I try to take current news stories and comment on them with my own spin at the local, community level," Spingarn said. "In any of my columns, whether about the need for anti-bullying laws to reach the sports fields of your community, how global warming is affecting everyone and the wildlife around us to questions about your own health, you'll hopefully recognize yourself in my commentary."
