Mustangs Squeeze Past the Vineyard, Face Belmont Monday
The girls' hockey team will continue in the tournament Monday night against Belmont.

The Norwood girls' varsity hockey team advanced to the quarterfinals of the MIAA Division 2 tournament with a 4-3 win over Martha's Vineyard Friday night in Canton.
The Mustangs' Emily Kelly, a sophomore, had two goals in the game, including a breakaway goal with 52 seconds left in the game.
The Mustangs outshot the Vineyarders 23-18 in the game, according to the Martha's Vineyard Times.

The fourth-seeded Norwood will now go on to face Belmont on Monday night. Belmont, the five seed in the tournament, advanced with a 5-4 win over Canton in overtime.
