Nine Norwood Residents Cross Boston Marathon Finish Line
Tragic explosions near Boston Marathon finish line divert 10 of the 19 Norwood bunners.
Of the 19 runners from Norwood in this year's Boston Marathon, nine crossed the finish line, according to the Boston Athletic Association.
The marathon was cut short when two explosions erupted near the finish line, killing at least two and injuring over 100, WHDH reported. Runners who had not yet crossed the finish line were diverted. The two explosions happened at approximately 2:50 p.m. as the race was about to enter it's sixth hour.
Maria Conley, 49, Kathryn Fobert, 36, Kevin Johnson, 33, Brian Macinnis, 37, David Markwarth, 35, Roberta Myers, 47, Amy Reyes, 35, Tom Vossen, 39 and Jeffrey Weidenaar, 47, all crossed the finish line at the marathon.

Runners were divert from the finish line after the explosion and are listed as not finishing the race.
