Norwood Light Offers New 'Localize' Program

Each month NLB plans to provide their broadband customers with coupons from local merchants as a reward for their loyal patronage.

Press release from Norwood Light Broadband

In April, Norwood Light Broadband (NLB) customers began receiving a brochure with their monthly cable bills. The brochure contained three coupons which could be redeemed for a free Video on Demand movie, a discount on food at Jake n Joe’s Sports Grille and a discount at the Dean Street Car Wash.

The coupons are part of a new program called “Localize,” introduced by NLB, better known as “The Local Guys.” Each month “The Local Guys” plan to provide their Broadband customers with coupons from local merchants as a reward for their loyal patronage.

“We certainly believe in supporting Norwood’s residents and businesses,” said Town Manager, John Carroll. “That sense of support and loyalty is what made NLB the number one provider of Cable TV, High-Speed Internet and Telephone in Norwood. We expect that the Localize rewards program will greatly benefit both our Broadband customers and our local merchants.”

Darryl Hanson, Norwood Light’s Broadband Manager says, “This is just one way of showing our gratitude to the thousands of Norwood residents and businesses who choose Norwood Light Broadband as their local provider. Norwood residents have a great sense of community that you don’t find in many towns these days.”

With thousands of these coupons being mailed each month, even a small redemption rate will be beneficial to the local economy. This program should prove to be a win/win for both Norwood residents and businesses.
