Norwood Police Log: Feb. 15

8:48 a.m. - Caller reported breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Howard St. Police filed a report.

11:12 a.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Dean and Neponset streets. One vehicle was towed from the scene, owners exchanged papers.

11:57 p.m. - Caller at CVS Pharmacy on Nahatan St. reported larceny of items from a carriage. Police filed a report.

2:19 p.m. - Loss prevention at Shaw's on Nahatan St. reported woman fled after attempting shoplifting. Police filed a report.

4:06 p.m. - Caller reported several teens damaging playground equipment at the Tot Lot on Bond St. Officers reported no damage, teens advised to stay off equipment.

5:18 p.m. - Caller on Ridgewood Dr. reported a vehicle pulled into the driveway, male driver exited, rummaged around the rear of the van, and walked around the home. When confronted, the party left toward Neponset St. Police issued a BOLO to all cars.

7:09 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported graffiti on the jersey barrier and sidewalk on the Broadway side of the MBTA bridge at Nahatan St. Officers documented and removed the same. Police filed a report.

8:10 p.m. - Caller on Jacobs Rd. reported past theft from the house. Matter is under investigation.

10:18 p.m. - Caller at CVS Pharmacy on Nahatan St. reported a shoplifting in progress. As a result, police arrested Marlene Baiona, of Norwood, for a third offense of shoplifting.
