Wednesday, Feb. 8 7:53 a.m. - Officer reported lights pulled off trees in front of St. Catherine's, on the sidewalk and some are broken. Police notified the DPW and Light Department. 11:38 a.m. - Caller at CVS Pharmacy on Nahatan St. reported shoplifting. Stated offender took off and ran into Shaw's. Police were unable to locate the party, filed a report. 1:49 p.m. - Manager at Shaw's reported a group of kids causing trouble. Group left prior to officer's arrival. 11:11 p.m. - Caller on Washington St. reported hearing an animal in distress. Officer reported sound came from a wild turkey, no problems found. Thursday, Feb. 9 1:43 a.m. - Security at Jack Madden Ford on Boston-Providence Highway reported larceny of two tires from a vehicle. Responding officers stated vehicle being worked on, tires in the rear of the car.
