Wednesday, May 2 11:24 a.m. - Caller at Broadway Package Store reported a disturbance that morning when a clerk would not sell more than five nips to a customer. Customer reached over the counter, took a bottle, and threw a $20 bill at the clerk. Police checked the area and filed a report. 1:08 p.m. - Caller reported drug law violation at the Cleveland School. Police filed a report. 3:19 p.m. - Caller reported breaking and entering on Prospect St. Police filed a report. 5:20 p.m. - Caller on Lane Dr. reported an from a neighbor's house. NFD responded, reported propane tank exploded. No injuries. Police filed a report. 7:10 p.m. - Caller reported vandalism to vehicle and property on Plimpton Ave. Police filed a report. 10:40 p.m. - Police initiated a motor vehicle stop at Pendergast Cir. As a result, police arrested Douglas C. Baston, of Alna, Maine, for operation of a motor vehicle under the influence of alchohol.
