Norwood Police Log: Graffiti, Vehicle Break-ins

6:44 a.m. - Caller states graffiti found on building at Ace Coin Laundry on Washington St. Police filed a report.

7:27 a.m. - Caller on Ledgeview Dr. reported two vehicles in the driveway were rifled through overnight and two GPS units taken. Police filed a report.

12:18 p.m. - Resident on Chapel St. reported hospital bed missing from attic. Police filed a report, incident under investigation.

2:39 p.m. - Caller at Walgreen's on Boston-Providence Highway reported a male beating on female with two kids. Male fled on foot, woman speaking with manager. Police filed a report.

2:54 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported dropping license last week, someone picked it up and kept it. Police filed a report.

5:40 p.m. - Caller reported male standing in front of Thrift Store on Washington St. may have purchased liquor for underage parties. Responding officer found no liquor violations, but arrested Anthony Gilmore, of Norwood, for an outstanding warrant and possession of class E drugs.

5:45 p.m. - Caller reported past breaking and entering to a vehicle on Norton Dr. Police filed a report.

6:23 p.m. - Caller reported black male looking into cars at Catalpa Rd. and Railroad Ave. and took off running. Responding officers searched the area, noted damage to one vehicle. Police filed a report.

6:44 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported three vehicles broken into on Ledgeview Dr. overnight. Police filed a report.

8:44 p.m. - Caller on Norton Dr. reported breaking and entering to vehicle. Police filed a report.

10:00 p.m. - Caller on Ledgeview Dr. reported entry gained to vehicle, nothing taken. Police filed a report.
