Friday, April 20

12:54 p.m. - Caller reported possible drunk driver on Boston-Providence Highway. Officers located party, reported not intoxicated.

5:15 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported a past hit and run at Hannaford Market on Walpole St. Police filed a report.

5:55 p.m. - Officer reported three suspicious male parties on Washington St. Police filed a report.

7:00 p.m. - Officer reported motor vehicle accident at Winter and Nichols streets. One vehicle towed from the scene. Police filed a report.

8:59 p.m. - Caller on Wedgewood Dr. reported a group of kids in the neighborhood. Officers located a few males ringing doorbells, notified parents.

9:40 p.m. - Officer spotted a male in the woods near UTI on Upland Rd. and placed him under arrest for trespassing.

Saturday, April 21

7:15 a.m. - Caller reported someone spray painted playground equipment. Police filed a report.

11:18 a.m. - Caller on Douglas Ave. reported finding sock with syringes in it. Officer disposed of the same.

2:10 p.m. - NFD, State Fire, DPW, working on brush fire near Vanderbilt Ave.

2:13 p.m. - Caller reported larceny of items from cellar on Walpole St. Police filed a report.

2:57 p.m. - Caller reported vandalism to motor vehicle at Andrus Pl. Police filed a report.

3:10 p.m. - Caller at Respite on Beacon Ave. reported two clients in a fight. NFD transported one for evaluation, police filed a report.

4:13 p.m. - Caller at Bay State Wine and Liquor on Walpole St. reported female tried to purchase alcohol with a fake I.D. and then fled the area. Officer responded, spoke to manager.

4:17 p.m. - Caller reported mulch fire on Lenox St. NFD handled.

5:57 p.m. - Caller on Prospect St. reported rabid raccoon. Area checked with negative results.

8:08 p.m. - Officer reported possible drug activity on Washington St. Female party fled the area in a vehicle. Officer stopped the vehicle, spoke to all parties. No arrest made. Police filed a report.

Sunday, April 22

7:20 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported breaking and entering to a motor vehicle on Washington St. Police filed a report.

11:05 p.m. - Caller reported assault on Washington St. As a result, police arrested Francis L. Keegan, of Norwood, for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
