Norwood Police Log: Report of Bar Fight, B&E

Friday, March 2

7:10 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported her vehicle struck while parked in front of Highview St. residence. Police filed a report.

8:10 a.m. - Caller reported truck spun out into the woods off the Neponset St. I-95 ramp southbound. The State Police handled the call.

11:14 a.m. - Caller reported a male ran into Work Out World on Boston-Providence Highway stating he was being chased. Officer spoke to the party, reported possibly someone trying to collect money owed.

12:33 p.m. - Caller on George St. reported being the victim of a scam. Police filed a report.

2:43 p.m. - Caller reported kids playing chicken with the train near the Norwood Depot station. Group located and left the tracks.

5:10 p.m. - Caller reported a group of kids fighting on Chapel St. Responding officer reported group gone on arrival.

Saturday, March 3

1:07 a.m. - Caller reported being involved in an altercation at Limey's Pub on Washington St. Officers responded, filed a report.

10:20 p.m. - Caller reported 17-year-old son being disrespectful and would like an officer to speak with him. Officer spoke with son, mom satisfied.

11:16 a.m. - Loss prevention at Building 19 3/4 on Boston-Providence Highway reported a female in custody for larceny over $250. Officers responded, filed a report.

1:06 p.m. - Walk-in to the department reported motorcycle left at Bikerz Finest on Boston-Providence Highway for service and can not contact anyone from the business, which is now closed. Police filed a report.

2:17 p.m. - Caller reported hit and run at Rite Aid on Walpole St. Police filed a report.

3:25 p.m. - Caller reported hit and run at Pleasant St. and Hillside Ave. Another caller reported same vehicle hit a curb and continued down Winter St. Westwood PD notified.

10:25 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Rojo on Boston-Providence Highway. Two vehicles towed from scene, police filed a report.

11:40 p.m. - Caller reported breaking and entering on Fisher St. Police filed a report.

Sunday, March 4

3:04 p.m. - Caller reported smell of marijuana in hallway of residence on Engamore Ln. Officers reported no smell on arrival, spoke to neighbors.

7:32 p.m. - Caller reported disturbance on Dean St. As a result, police arrested Michael A. Natale, of Norwood, for assault and battery.
