7:32 a.m. - Caller reported a dead coyote off the side of the road on Neponset St. The DPW was notified and handled the situation.

10:23 a.m. - Caller reported social security number used by an unknown party to file a tax return. Police filed a report.

11:37 a.m. - Walk-in to the department reported a dog bite incident at Mr. Frank's. Police filed a report.

11:52 a.m. - Officers conducted a traffic stop at Neponset and Hemlock streets. As a result, police arrested Robert F. Nunes, of Malden, for possession of a class B drug and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.

1:49 p.m. - Caller at LensCrafters on Boston-Providence Highway reported a black male and female shoplifted expensive sunglasses. Police issued a BOLO for the suspects' vehicle.

2:25 p.m. - Caller on Folan Ave. reported motor vehicle keyed several times in South Norwood. Police filed a report.

4:52 p.m. - Caller reported syringes found in the woods at Wilson Field. Officers removed two needles.

5:25 p.m. - Caller reported motor vehicle accident at Redwood Dr. and Pleasant St. NFD responded, one car towed from the scene. Police filed a report.
