Tuesday night, Boston Celtics captain Paul Pierce secured his spot in the record books by surpassing Larry Bird's 21,791 point total to become the second leading scorer in franchise history. Pierce finished the game with 21,797 points.
While he is still a ways away from John Havlicek, who had 26,395 career points with the Celtics, surpassing Bird certainly puts Pierce in the disucssion for all-time best Celtics players.
