Rep. Rogers Meets With Irish Prime Minister

Rep. Rogers met with Irish Prime minister Enda Kenny recently during the Prime Minister's three-day trip to the United States.

Representative John H. Rogers (D-Norwood), met with Irish Prime minister Enda Kenny recently during the Prime Minister’s three-day trip to the United States to promote economic ties and better trade partnerships. Massachusetts, Rogers notes, and Ireland are close trade partners. In 2011, Massachusetts exported more than $1 billion of goods and services to Ireland and imported over $500 million of goods and services from Ireland.

Rogers, who once attended law school at the University of Galway in Ireland, specifically cited the , headquartered in Norwood as an important American partner to grow jobs locally and abroad.
