Norwood Boys' Basketball in Riley Winter Classic

King Philip defeated Norwood for the championship by the score of 58 to 50.

The Riley Winter Classic basketball tournament in Westwood was a huge success drawing many fans from Norwood, Canton, Norfolk, Wrentham, Plainville, Arlington and Westwood.

Fans present were treated to entertaining games and many exciting plays by the talented players on all teams. On the final night of the boys tournament Arlington defeated Westwood in the consolation game 71 to 62, while King Philip defeated Norwood for the championship by the score of 58 to 50. All four teams have had successful seasons and are headed to the MIAA state tournament which begins next week.
