Hearing for Dog Owner Regarding Dangerous Incidents

There was a hearing before the Selectmen Tuesday regarding incidents with a Norwood resident's dog.

Town Manager John Carroll said in a previous meeting that the dog had in Norwood.

"This is a normal course of events when there is a dog that might be a danger," Selectmen Chair Michael Lyons said about the hearing.

According to the resident in question and statements from town and personal counsel, the dog is no longer being housed in Norwood. The Board has no jurisdiction if the dog is being housed outside of town, but several members noted that if the animal should return, even for a visit, further action would be taken.
