The Skating Club of Boston Celebrates World Ice Skating Day on Dec 15
Will Offer Free Lessons, Performances and More!

The Skating Club of Boston will celebrate World Ice Skating Day on Sunday, December 15th with free lessons at both their Norwood facility and the Boston Common Frog Pond. In addition to lessons, there will be skater performances, equipment introduction, and stretch classes.
World Ice Skating Day is a day dedicated to celebrating ice skating across the world in the month of December. In addition, Boston will host the ISU World Figure Skating Championships 2025 on March 25-30 at the TD Garden.
The day’s schedule includes a group instruction session at the Boston Common Frog Pond from 10:00 - 11:00 am. The events move to The Skating Club of Boston in the afternoon with an open stretch class at Synergy Studios from 1:00 - 10:45 pm, a skate equipment introduction and skater performances featuring Team USA and developing athletes from 1:45 pm - 2:15 pm and group instruction from 2:15 - 3:00 pm.
