Three Arrested for Conspiracy to Violate Drug Law
Police arrested three Norwood males in South Norwood after observing "activity consistent with the sale of drugs."
Police arrested three Norwood residents on charges of conspiracy to violate drug law Friday afternoon, the NPD spokesman said Monday.
According to police logs, Detective Sergeant Robert Rinn requested marked units to Alandale Parkway, off Washington St. in South Norwood, on Friday at 12:25 p.m. The area had been under surveillance by Norwood Police and other members of the Norfolk County Police Anti-Crime (NORPAC) Detectives Unit, police spokesman Kevin Grasso said.
"At approximately 12:10, Detectives observed activity consistent with the sale of drugs," Grasso said.

Police arrested three suspects at the scene. Justin P. Diflaminies, 25, of Bahama Dr. in Norwood, was charged with conspiracy to violate drug law, possession with intent to distribute a class A substance (Heroin), and drug violation near a school or park. Also arrested were Scott D. Ryan, 23, of Oxford Rd., Norwood, and Thomas Christopher Fitzgerald, 25, of Washington St. in Norwood; both were charged with conspiracy to violate drug law.
Norwood police made a total of seven in the last week.
