Centerboard’s Golf Fundraiser Is Back

After a year hiatus due to COVID, the annual golf tournament fundraiser is back.

LYNN- Centerboard is proud to announce the return of their annual golf fundraiser this fall after a year hiatus due to COVID. The Fore Fun Golf Fundraiser will be happening on September, 16 at the Kelley Greens Golf Club in Nahant.

“We are excited to have this golf tournament again and look forward to having a great day,” said CEO Mark DeJoie. “The money raised through this event will directly benefit individuals and families in the North Shore area to provide them with the tools to help achieve independence and success through support, education, training, and a focus on healthy living and community connections.”

The Fore Fun Golf Tournament is the perfect opportunity for participants to “do good” while having an opportunity to network and have fun along the way! This is the third annual golf tournament for Centerboard.

Proceeds of the event will help assist youth and families achieve stability through a variety of services, including a raffle to fund our inaugural Empowerment Scholarship, which will assist local college students to obtain an education.

Participants can join the festivities as a single or put a foursome together for a fun 9-hole outing. $100 registration fee per player includes golf and a delicious dinner after the tournament. Golf carts available on a first come, first serve basis.

“We promise a lot of laughs, fun games with prizes, give-a-ways, and more,” added DeJoie.

Centerboard serves more than 2,000 people each year through housing, access to employment and education, and financial empowerment. Centerboard helps individuals and families in the North Shore including Peabody.
