Drug Arrests; It's Okay for Kids to Shoot Hoops: Peabody Police

Sunday, May 8
At 2:48 p.m., a juvenile was arrested for shoplifting at the Northshore Mall.
At 5:59 p.m, a caller reported neighborhood children playing basketball on Batchelder Avenue. An officer reported that the call was unfounded and that there was nothing wrong with children playing basketball.

At 6:26 p.m., there was an injured raccoon reported in the Highland Park area.
At 6:40 p.m., police arrested Jonathan Madore, 35, of Margin Street in Peabody and charged him with possession of a Class A drug. Police also arrested Leo Hanley, 35, of Macarthur Road in Peabody and charged him with possession of a Class A drug.

At 8:57 p.m., there was a report of a wallet taken from a vehicle on Howley Street.
At 11:14 p.m., police arrested Vidal Bonilla, 41, of Summer Street in Lynn on a charge of the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
Monday, May 9
At 9:21 a.m., there was a report of graffiti at the Burke School.
At 9:28 a.m., there was a motor vehicle accident on Central Street.
At 9:30 a.m., there was a report of a raccoon under a porch on Nichols Lane.
At 12:14 p.m., a dog was sprayed by a skunk on Fay Avenue.
