George Peabody Legacy Award Recipients To Be Celebrated
Six people are being honored for their efforts to provide a lifetime of contributions to our educational system on Oct. 17.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Education Foundation is honoring six members of the community — five living and one posthumously — for their lifetime of contributions to the city's educational system with this year's George Peabody Legacy Awards.
In the wake of the COVID-19 health crisis, traditional ways of educating students have been severely disrupted. Teachers and community members are rising to the challenge by providing an education that goes beyond just academics.
