Jury Selection Underway In Peabody Double-Murder Trial
Wes Doughty was arrested two years ago and charged with the murders of Jennifer O'Connor, 40, and her boyfriend, Mark Greenlaw, 37.

SALEM, MA — Jury selection began Tuesday in Salem Superior Court in trial of a man accused of killing a boyfriend and girlfriend in Peabody in 2017. Wes Doughty is charged with the murders of Jennifer O'Connor, 40, and her boyfriend, Mark Greenlaw, 37. He is also accused with raping O'Connor.
Opening statements are expected on Thursday morning, the Essex County District Attorney's office said.
Doughty is accused of shooting and killing Greenlaw and then raping and killing his girlfriend, O'Connor, inside a house at 19 Farm Avenue in Peabody in February 2017. Doughty's co-defendant, Michael Hebb, will likely invoke his Fifth Amendment right against self incrimination if he testifies.
