Peabody Area Chamber $3K College Scholarship Application Window Opens

The scholarship will be awarded to graduating high school seniors intending to pursue a career in business or STEAM fields.

PEABODY, MA — The Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce will award two $3,000 scholarships this spring to graduating high school seniors pursuing degrees in business-related, science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) and medical fields.

"Supporting the next generation of leaders and innovators is a priority for the Chamber,” said Deanne Healey, President of the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce. "By investing in local students, we're helping to strengthen the future of our community and inspire young minds to achieve their goals."

The PACC Scholarship is available to any Peabody resident or non-resident who is a graduating senior who plans to major in business, STEAM (including medical), and meets at least ONE of the following criteria:

  • Attends a school in Peabody.
  • Is a Peabody resident who attends school in another city.
  • Employed by a Peabody Chamber member business.
  • Parent/legal guardian is the owner or an employee of a PACC member business.

The award recipient will be determined by the Peabody Area Chamber of Commerce. Eligible scholarship recipients will be required to participate in a short interview with the selection committee, providing an opportunity to demonstrate other skills or talents not covered by the transcript or essay.

Scholarships will be awarded directly to the honoree upon presentation of a paid tuition bill or payment plan accepted by the school.

All application materials must be received on or before April 4. Recipients will be announced in May and recognized at an upcoming Chamber event.
