Peabody Cultural Council Seeking Grant Applications
These grants can support a variety of cultural and artistic projects and activities in Peabody.
PEABODY, MA — Organizations, schools and individuals are encouraged to apply for the next round of Project Year 2025 Local Cultural Council funding through the Mass Cultural Council.
These grants can support exhibits, classes, festivals, field trips, short-term artist residencies, performances in schools, workshops and lectures. This year there is $32,600 available in funding for Peabody Projects.
The project deadline is Oct. 16.

The Peabody Cultural Council is part of a network of 329 Local Cultural Councils serving all 351 cities and towns in the Commonwealth. The state legislature provides an annual appropriation to the Mass Cultural Council, a state agency, which then allocates funds to each community.
Mass Cultural Council is using an online application system, called SmartSimple. Applicants can log in, set up an account, and submit their application here.

Previously funded Peabody Cultural Council projects include: the Peabody Summer Concerts on the Commons, The Peabody International Festival, Classes in Painting, Theater, and Woodcarving for seniors, Instrument Lending Program for children, School Field trips to the Peabody Essex Museum, to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and to numerous Theatrical Performances throughout the region.
