Peabody Downtown Holiday Stroll Returns For 2025

The event featuring cider, cookies, crafts and free trolley rides includes the Christmas tree lighting at dusk.

PEABODY, MA — A festive day of yuletide season fun is in store for downtown Peabody when the annual Holiday Stroll returns Thanksgiving weekend.

This year's event is set for Nov. 29 with cider, cookies, crafts, family activities, story time with Santa and Mrs. Claus, all leading up to the lighting of the Christmas tree at 4:30 p.m.

Other activities include free trolley rides, reduced admission to the North Shore Children's Museum, ornament crafting, selfie stations, green screen (TV) fun, an interactive smokehouse, indoor snowball fight, winter holiday art fair, dance performances and hot dogs and hamburgers from the Peabody Police Department.

The event is designed for Peabody families to come downtown, connect with neighbors and support small businesses.
