PEABODY, MA — North Reading police and the Middlesex District Attorney's office are looking for other potential victims with a man accused of assaulting a woman during a massage at Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center in North Reading. Daniel Feener, 35, of Peabody, pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Woburn District Court to charges of rape and indecent assault and battery.

Police say Feener inappropriately touched the woman during a massage in which she asked him to focus on her shoulders. He also continued to touch her inappropriately after she asked him to stop. "Due to the nature of the assault Police believe there may be other individuals who may have been victimized by the defendant," the district attorney's office said in a statement.

Feener is being held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing scheduled for Friday. Feener had worked at the center for several months, and investigators are trying to determine if he worked at other businesses since receiving his massage license in 2018.
