Peabody Man Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges
Raymond Scanzani, 62, had been convicted on similar charges in Florida in 2006.
PEABODY, MA — A Peabody man already on lifetime probation pleaded guilty last week to new child pornography charges. Federal investigators found a "how-to" manual for molesting children and sexually explicit images of young boys on the computer Raymond Scanzani, 62, using monitoring software he was ordered to install on his computer after serving eight years in prison on a 2006 child pornography conviction in Florida. Scanzani will be sentenced on the new charges on Jan. 9
FBI agents found nearly three dozen child pornography images on a computer and camera when they executed a search warrant of a Scanzani's home in July 2018.
