PEABODY, MA — The Salem News is reporting that the Peabody School Committee offered praise for Superintendent Cara Murtagh after her first year on the job. In a self-evaluation, Murtagh rated herself "proficient" in most categories, but the school committee overruled her and raised the rating to "exemplary" for community engagement.
