Peabody Traditional Holiday Stroll Returns Downtown For 9th Year
The day of seasonal cheer will include tree lighting, caroling, an art fair, touch-a-truck, seasonal snacks, games and more.
PEABODY, MA — A holiday tradition returns to downtown Peabody for the ninth year later this month with the annual free holiday stroll.
The stroll includes caroling, the lighting of the Peabody downtown Christmas tree and family activities.
The stroll runs from 1 to 5 p.m. on Nov. 30 with the tree lighting set for 4:30.

Free trolley service will be available downtown for those who want to visit several of the small businesses participating this year.
There will be cookies, apples and cider at Peabody City Hall with pictures available with the Gingerbread Man.

The Peabody Fire Station will host a touch-a-truck, Jaws of Life demonstration and a smokehouse.
The Peabody Police Food Cart will be set up at Courthouse Plaza with local dance troupe North Shore Academy performances.
The Knights of Columbus will host a Santa's Workshop with cookie decorating, reindeer games and an indoor snowball fight.
The Peabody Institute Library will host a winter art fair as well as storytime with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus at 1:30, 2:30 and 3:30.
The North Shore Children's Museum of Peabody will host play sessions for $5 until 4 p.m.
Peabody TV will also host "Green Screen Fun" for children who want to see what it's like to be on TV.
Create & Escape will host an ornament bar.
There will be an Ugly Sweater Raffle, Elfie Selfie Scene, and live music with radio DJ Brandon Clay at Granite Coast Brewing.
