Peabody Youth Cheerleaders Earn Trip To Nationals In Orlando

PEABODY, MA — More than two dozen Peabody fifth- and sixth-grade cheerleaders are hopeful for a little community support as they make their way to the national championships in Florida next month.

The Peabody Youth Cheer U-12 Level 2 team came in first at Locals, first at States and third at Regionals to earn a spot at the National Championships in Orlando on Dec. 6.

The program is looking for support to defray the cost of flights, hotels, food and admission costs for cheerleaders and coaches.

A GoFundMe page has been set up with the goal of raising $30,000 for the team.
