Stop & Shop Recalling Store Brand Granola Bars
There is a potential Listeria threat with the chewy almond granola bars.

Peabody, MA - Stop & Shop is recalling a line of its store brand granola bars due to a potential Listeria threat.
The recall extends across the supermarket chain.
The Stop & Shop brand Sweet & Salty Almond Chewy Granola bars are located in the store's breakfast aisle, according to a notice from the company.

The company stated that out of an abundance of caution this product is being removed because it was processed by the company's supplier, TreeHouse Private Brands, on the same production line as sunflower seeds potentially contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
All date codes of the 7.4 ounce packages of the granola bars are being recalled, but only product with the Best By Date of Dec. 07, 2016 is impacted, according to Stop & Shop.

The UPC code on the granola bars is 68826709280. Customers may return the product to stores for a full refund.
There is a Stop & Shop location on Howley Street in Peabody.
