'Untraceable' Guns, 'Significant' Drug Quantities Seized In Peabody Bust: Police

PEABODY, MA — Untraceable guns and "significant quantities of drugs" were seized in a multi-agency bust on Roycroft Road in Peabody, according to police.

Peabody police said Peabody, Salem and Lynn police assisted in the search warrant execution on Friday that led to the seizure of drugs and "multiple firearms, including untraceable 3D-printed weapons."

Police said Richard Diorio, 33, was charged with drug trafficking and weapons crimes and was still being held on Wednesday pending a dangerousness hearing.

"The operation reflects the strong partnerships and shared commitment of local and federal law enforcement agencies to reduce the harm caused by illegal drugs and gun violence," Peabody police said, "and to protect the safety and well-being for our communities."
