Wakefield, Peabody, Tewksbury Residents Plead Guilty To Meth Drug Trafficking Charges
The U.S. Attorney's Office said the drug ring was run by by the Unknown Bikers Motorcycle Club.
PEABODY, MA — A Wakefield man this week became the third person to plead guilty to charges related to a methamphetamine drug trafficking ring that the U.S. Attorney's Office said was operated by the Unknown Bikers Motorcycle Club in Eastern Massachusetts.
Daniel Loughman, 40, pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of meth and one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. His sentencing is scheduled for March 10, 2026.
Loughman joins two other defendants who pleaded guilty to charges related to the drug trafficking ring.

Danielle Steenbruggen, of Peabody, pleaded guilty in August and was sentenced to 93 months in prison last month. James Snow, of Tewksbury, pleaded guilty on Dec. 1 and is set to be sentenced in March.
The U.S. Attorney's Office said Loughman was identified in October 2023 as a distributor of meth to customers across eastern Mass. The U.S. Attorney's Office said investigators conducted controlled purchases from Loughman and his associates, including Steenbruggen and Snow, as well as James Adams, of Byfield.

Approximately 10 pounds of methamphetamine and four firearms were seized throughout the investigation from controlled purchases, motor vehicle stops and search warrants, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Police departments in Wakefield, Newbury, Newburyport, Haverhill, Peabody and Hampton, NH were credited with assisting in the case.
