Father Drowns on July 4th in Plymouth Pond
A man drowned last night at Ezekiel Pond, while swimming with his daughter.

A 48-year-old man drowned on July 4th at 6 pm, while swimming with his daughter in Ezekiel Pond in Myles Standish State Forest, according myfoxboston.com.
The man told his daughter he was tired, myfoxboston.com reported, and she swam to shore to alert family members for help. Family members tried to revive the man with CPR. The man was pronounced dead at Jordan Hospital.
This is the second reported drowning at a pond in Myles Standish State Forest this season. In early June, an 18-year-old man drowned at Charge Pond.
