Updated: Road Cleared on Route 3

Massachusetts State Police reported a traffic backup Friday afternoon.

Plymouth, MA - Massachusetts State Police have cleared the road northbound on Route 3, after traffic delays earlier in the afternoon.

Previously, state police said to expect a two-mile backup near Kingston.

The culprit was a disabled dump truck on the highway's right lane northbound, according to a tweet from Massachusetts State Police, around 1:30 p.m.
