MA Man Sought After Couple Killed In Marshfield

The 71 and 70-year-old husband and wife were found dead late Tuesday night at their Marshfield home.

MARSHFIELD, MA — Police across Massachusetts on Wednesday were searching for a 27-year-old man who may have been involved in a double-homicide in Marshfield on Tuesday.

According to local police and the Plymouth County District Attorney Tim Cruz, Carl Mattson, 70, and his wife, Vicki Mattson, 71, were found dead of stab wounds in their Gotham Hill Drive home in Marshfield home late Tuesday night.

A man the couple knew, Christopher Keeley, 27, is being sought in connection to their deaths.

Early in the day, police had said Keeley was driving a newer model Jeep, but the vehicle was found empty Wednesday afternoon.

Cruz said he will charge Keeley with murder as soon as he is taken into custody.

Police believe Keeley might be armed and advised anyone who sees him to call 911.
