Mayflower II Undergoes 'Extensive Repairs'
The 56-year-old ship is at dry dock in Fairhaven getting repairs to its frame.
Mayflower II, the replica ship docked every summer at the State Pier on the Plymouth Waterfront will be a little late getting there this spring.
The 56-year-old ship was towed to dry dock in Fairhaven in December for routine maintenance, where an inspection revealed that the ship's frame required extensive repairs.
Plimoth Plantation estimates the repairs will be finished in May, when the ship will return to her summer harbor.
