Swimmer Drowns Friday Night at Charge Pond in Plymouth
Man drowns while swimming in Plymouth Pond.

An 18-year-old man drowned last night while swimming out to a boat in Charge Pond, part of Myles Standish State Forest in Plymouth, when he suddently disappeared under water.
The man became distressed when swimming and was pulled to shore by searchers, given CPR and the taken to Jordon Hospital, where he died, according to CBSBoston.
After hearing shouts of help by the swimmer's friends, campers in the state park ran into the water to help, reported WHDH.com.

Yet, the water was cloudy and it was hard to see, said Michael Macmurgo, one of the searchers, to WHDH.
Massachusetts State Police are investigating the incident.
