• Plymouth County District Attorney announces arrest in murder of 29-year-old man (fallriverreporter.com) — Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced an arrest in the November shooting death of a 29-year-old Rockland man, after investigators tracked a suspect to Brockton. State Police detectives assigned to the Plymouth County DA’s office led the probe, using witness interviews and aerial searches before securing the murder warrant and scheduling arraignment in Hingham District Court. 
• Plymouth community calls for end to sheriff's agreement with ICE (bostonglobe.com) — Residents and advocacy groups gathered outside the Plymouth County Correctional Facility to demand an end to the sheriff’s agreement with ICE, citing fear in immigrant neighborhoods and poor detention conditions. Protesters from Plymouth and nearby towns linked a symbolic “peace chain” along Long Pond Road and argued that local cooperation with ICE makes communities less safe and undermines humane treatment.
