Wheaton College Softball To Compete For NCAA Super Regional Championship

Noelle Christmas, of Plymouth, helped her team make it to the finals.

Sunday afternoon, the Wheaton College softball team trounced Husson University, and claimed the 2015 NCAA Division III Softball Norton Regional Championship. The final score was 13-2 at Clark Field at Wheaton.

Next up for the Lyons - a two-out-of-three series against the winner of the battle between Kean University and William Patterson University.

If Wheaton can pull off a victory in that series on on the weekend of May 15 and May 16, they will be crowned NCAA Super Regional softball champs.
