$27.9-Million Center For Active Living Project Planned For Reading
The project will include a gymnasium, infrastructure upgrades and more, according to a report.
READING, MA — The $27.9-million Reading Center for Active Living project is moving forward and was approved by the Permanent Building Committee, according to The Reading Post.
The project, which will replace the Pleasant Street Center, will include a gymnasium, a propane generator, and improvements to Range Road.
The project was discussed at a recent Select Board meeting where some members questioned the additional tax burden associated with it.
