A release from the office of Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan: WOBURN – Reading's Dennis Mercer, 48, was charged with aggravated rape of a child (2 counts) and forcible rape of a child (2 counts) according to Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan. The indictment was one of many handed down between May 2 and June 27, 2019. These charges are allegations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
