Chamber Holds Buy Local Weekend Sept. 14-16

The continues its efforts to remind the community of the importance of buying locally. The next “Buy Local” weekend will be held on Friday, September 14 through Sunday, September 16.

Throughout the weekend, Chamber of Commerce businesses in Reading and North Reading will offer special incentives for townspeople to shop locally. Studies show spending locally one weekend a month can have a significant impact. Your money is reinvested back into the community through job creation, taxes, and charitable donations.

The Chamber encourages everyone to do your part to help strengthen our economy and community by buying locally: “Keep Your Town Alive to Thrive!” Participating businesses include Brissonte, Ryer’s Country Store, Wishing Well Gift Shop, Fit Revolution, Bertucci’s, The Hitching Post Gift Shop, The Corner Closet, and Aine’s Boutique.
