Frosty’s Fair Rings in the Holiday Season

Where can you get an iPad, a wreath for the front door, Patriot’s tickets, homemade fudge, Christmas crafts and a picture of your children with Santa? The answer is Frosty’s Fair at the Union Congregational Church.  The doors for this year’s edition of Frosty’s Fair will open on Friday, November 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, December 1 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Many families have made it a tradition to celebrate the beginning of the holiday season with a trip to the fair. Beautiful handmade ornaments, freshly decorated wreaths, and a large assortment of Christmas crafts will be on hand to brighten your home. Gift baskets, jewelry, and a wide variety of crafts make affordable gifts for everyone on your list. The Elegant Elephants section offers a touch of style with one-of-a-kind heirlooms made from glass, crystal, brass, and pewter..

Sports fans can bid on tickets to the silent auction table which will also feature an iPad.  Raffles, a Vermont cheese wheel, and white elephant table will also be part of the fun.

Frosty’s Fair is a winter wonderland for children.   Little ones can shop just like grown-ups in a shopping room set aside especially for them. They can choose from unique and inexpensive gifts, and adults will be there to help them wrap their treasures to surprise everyone on their list. Frosty’s Playground provides fun for all with the popular Tootsie Roll Christmas tree, sand art, ice fishing game, cotton candy, popcorn, and prizes.

Tired of standing in line at the mall and paying for expensive photos with Santa? Bring your children to Frosty’s Fair and they can visit Santa right here in North Reading. High quality digital prints in 8x10, 5x7, and 4x6 sizes are available for a fraction of the cost of mall photos.

Visitors to the fair won’t go home hungry. The candy and bake table offers mouth-watering homemade fudge, candies, cookies, holiday breads and other baked goods. Stop in at Frosty’s Café for a delicious meal before or after you shop. On Friday, the Café offers a full menu with pulled pork, mac & cheese, hot dogs, homemade cole slaw, Caesar salad, and brownie sundaes. On Saturday, enjoy fresh lobster rolls for just $8 and top it off with some apple crisp and ice cream. Be sure to call the church office before the fair to order a quart of the pastor’s famous lobster bisque for $10 and pick it up at the cooking-to-go table.
