The Beautiful Game Soccer Academy is hosting a soccer clinic for children in Reading during the first week in August.The clinic teaches soccer through a number of fun games and activities for the younger participants and age appropriate lesson plans for the older groups. According to The Beautiful Game Soccer Academy, the primary goal of the week-long clinic is to "ensure each and every player leave with a greater passion for the game of soccer and a basic skills set that will help them be successful on their soccer journey." The soccer clinic will be held at the Reading High School Field House and Turf Fields, 62 Oakland Road, from Aug. 3 through Aug. 6. Children between the ages of 5 and 7 years old will attend the clinic for a half day, from 9 a.m. to noon. Children between the ages of 8 and 12 years old will attend for a full day, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The cost for half day is $165 and for a full day is $229.
