Birch Meadow Drive Paving Planned for Wednesday

The Town of Reading announced that they will be installing the final layer of pavement on Birch Meadow Drive on Wednesday.

The contractor will begin by Main St. at 7:00 AM and proceed towards Coolidge Middle School / Arthur B. Lord Drive area.

DETOURS AND DELAYS SHOULD BE EXPECTED.

Vehicles wishing to access Coolidge Middle School will be detoured via Forest Street to Arthur B. Lord Drive. Vehicles wishing to access Oakland Road will be detoured via Hillcrest Rd. and Waverly Rd.

While construction is occurring, parking within the construction areas will be prohibited and will be strictly enforced by the Reading Police Department.
