Residents have been lucky this winter. We have not seen any snow since the . However, when we do get snow, residents want to know more about the parking rules in town.
According to the Department of Public Works, the following parking regulations are in effect between November 15 and April 15:

- Vehicles are not allowed to park in the Public Rights of Way from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. unless it is an emergency.
- During snow operation/emergencies, parking in the Public Rights of Way is prohibited at all times.
- The Director of Public Works will tow your car to a public garage or other place if your car interferes with the removing or plowing of snow or removing ice from town parking areas and from any other town-owned land owned or land used by the town. The owner of the vehicle will be charged with storage fees and other costs.
